Pomp and Circumstance (Graduation Processional)
The school system needed a track for 4 high school graduations. The original file was
too slow, causing the processional to take too long. I sped it up (without changing the
original pitch), edited out the less-familiar section of the original song, and
seamlessly looped it to ensure it ran for the whole processional without interruption
(over 27 minutes).
Monroe Comprehensive High School Alma
Mater
School Alma Mater is sung to the tune of "O Danny Boy". Took the recording of "Irish
Tune from County Derry", changed the key to match the vocalist, edited the music to
match the form of the song. Recorded vocals in my band room office, cleaned it up a
little, and mixed.
"Do the Ponderosa" (unfinished rap/chorus
track)
Chorus teacher at a school where I was the band director wanted to record students doing
a rap song with sung choruses. Chorus teacher performed the track. I recorded it and all
vocals in my office, edited, and mixed it. Never finished it.
Mix of 3 songs for dance competition
Edit songs for time & continuity, lined up first song with second, edited third song for
explicit content, and made sure the track ended by 2:00 mark.
